(If Kate were a writer for Guitar World or some other magazine..this is what she'd write lol)

11-10-00:     It is mass important that you listen!  When you're out on stage or in the studio, it is incredibly important not to be in your own little world (Hey I've done it lol)..you should be listening to and interacting with the group!  React to what they're playing.  Don't play like mass loud when someone else is soloing..that'll get you shown the door like mass quick!  Alway's put their ego's ahead of yours (its hard...lol)...remember other musicians will always come to you if they fell that you made them sound better!  Another thing that's important is to know your place!  If the band leader or producer asks you to play something a certain way, put on a mass smile and do it!  No arguing, no pouting, don't think you know better, don't be an asshole to be blunt!  Showin'em you are easy to work with will get your opinions more consideration..I kid you not!
Last thing for today, you need to develop mass authority as a player.  Sounding great in your garage doesn't mean alot if you can't do it on stage (but at least your sounding good somewhere!).  It's mass important to get to the point where you feel as creatively comfortable in front of hundreds (or thousands..or ten lol) or people as you do in front of your siblings or pets.  That mean's puttin' in time!  Playin' at home can only get you so far..and thats not mass far.  It's so incredibly mass important that you play out soon.  Familiarize yourself with as many real-life musical situations as you can.  Go to jam sessions as much as is massively possible!  Always take less-than-mass-cool gigs too...the experience
will always be a good reward!  Believe me..I've played some massively uncool venuse lol.  Thats it for now!  Buh-bye!
